~ 88 Pts JAMES SUCKLING Fresh, simple nose that cuts to the chase with its pomelo and apple pith. Light and crisp on the palate with fresh acidity and a refreshing, succinct finish. Verdejo, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, viura and viognier. Drink now. ~ 88 Pts WINE ADVOCATE The 2022 White Blend is a new wine produced with 91% Verdejo, 2.5% Chardonnay, 2.5% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Viura and 2% Viognier, as the appellation has now accepted Chardonnay and Viognier. It's a wine produced exclusively for the US market and was fermented with neutral yeasts and bottled unoaked to keep the fruit and freshness. It's faintly reductive, with notes of bay leaf and white flowers, and has a medium-bodied palate with good ripeness, 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.35 and six grams of sugar. It still has a majority of Verdejo with its classical bitter twist in the finish. 100,000 bottles produced.
