Hop, Skip and Go Naked

Shandys are typically made with a combination of beer and lemonade or lemon-lime soda.  Today we share with you an old-school recipe, like a shandy called Hop, Skip and Go Naked?  This drink comes to us from the frat houses of the 1970’s and is similar in fashion to a shandy but dialed up in proof with a bit of vodka.  If one Googles Hop, Skip and Go Naked they will find dozens of variations on the theme all including some type of spirit combined with lemonade or lemon-lime soda and beer.  In the old days, the drink was most often made in large batches with less than premium ingredients.  Today, we the Bottle Pros have refined the original recipe, upping its game to create a refreshing Shandy-like cocktail that has a slightly higher pedigree than the original.  If you are looking for a great summer drink, then we suggest you Hop, Skip and Go Naked!

Hop, Skip and Go Naked

In a tall collins glass filled with cracked ice add:

• 1 Ounces Absolut Citron Vodka
• 3 Ounces of San Pellegrino Limonata

Top with Stella Artois Lager.  Stir, garnish with a lemon wheel, and serve with a tall straw.
